About Our Calendar & Site

This site was created using a paid version of WIX Site Builder, two variations of      Google Calendar 31 application, paid version of Events Calendar application, a      paid version of Web Stats, registered and paid for Domain Name, the entire site      and calendars are self-funded. There are no annoying advertisements, pop-ups      and site navigation is pretty simple. Many options have been added to this site        to make it a one-stop-shop for the car enthusiast. The yellow buttons provide          you with additional functionality to make it easy to use and easy to maintain.

This site was developed and funded by me, and is free to use, and covers              events from around the NY and PA areas. The yellow button on the calendar          pages defines our coverage area, see ("Events & Coverage") for details.

This site is best viewed using a PC computer and browser. There is a simplified      version, stream-lined with only the calendar function for use with mobile                  devices and tablets. See the yellow button for ("Switch to Mobile Version"). If          you loaded the full version on your phone, scroll down until you see the switch        to button to reload the calendar into the mobile version.

The Events & Coverage option will also define what you will find in the different      flyer folders. Event flyer options will contain events for car shows, non-                    repeatable cruise-ins, flyers for repeatable cruise nights, cars & coffee, swap          meets and drag racing with be found under the associated option, yellow                buttons.

The Information Icon will provide tips for using the different Flyer Options. Just        click on the (( i )) image for using event flyer pages.

On the Google calendars, our Main page and button labelled Alternate Google        View, Google tends to change the user interface which changes how you would      navigate through the months. On the title line of the calendar, you will see the          month and year with a drop-down arrow to the right of the month and year. Click      the arrow and the month selection window will open. Use the arrows < and >          next to the month to move backwards or forwards in the months. Once you pick      your month, click on the day in the month, this will close the month selection            window and move you to the month and day you selected. Since changes are        made by Google, I have no way to change how the dates work.

The are yellow button options for e-mailing me if you have questions or want          help in getting your event listed on our calendar. Scrolling all the way down to          the bottom of our calendar pages there will be options for subscribing to our            email list, calendar tips, and providing feedback. Your feedback would be                greatly appreciated as we want to make this a great experience using our event

    calendar and overall website.

You do not need Facebook to use our site. You can bookmark our site and get        direct access via your bookmark. If you install the Google Calendar 31                    application on your smartphone or tablet, you can add this calendar to the              application for an even better experience. You would add my calendar by using      my email address, (( yaggieke@gmail.com )).

There are other event calendars and Facebook groups that provide information      for the car community. Most event sites have advertisements and annoying            popups that you have to wade through. Facebook is more difficult to find                  information you are looking for, and Facebook event pages keep sending you          back to the beginning of the list. Here information is all organized by dd-mmm        and location in the flyer folders, and on the calendar by month, day, and time          with the location as part of the event title. The calendar indicates the type of            event by the icons that are part of the title. You can find those definitions at the        bottom of the three different Calendar pages.

We hope you find this Event Calendar and Website useful in your search for the

events you are interested in. Again, your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I've had a couple of people complain that there is too much information on the

calendar. Since I am one of the Host at our weekly cruise night and have

people coming from different areas I wanted to make sure to include enough

events from around the area so they would have event information in their area.

Also, I have a lot of passion for the car community, and enjoy providing this

information for them. Since I am fully funding this site, I'm making it the way I

want it. I've provided enough options to allow searching for events that will help

people get to the information they are interested in faster.

If you have questions feel free to e-mail us using the "E-Mail Us" option found        on the header line of our calendar.  Thank you for using our calendar.
